Kiki & Co

Kiki & Co

The interaction between parent and child already starts during pregnancy and is a never-ending story. They are, however, influenced by various external factors, such as: biological, psychological, historical, cultural and social influences. Especially in the younger years, parents play a major role in the interaction with the child. Several studies have shown that a good quality upbringing protects the child against the possible strong negative influences. Sometimes this is not always easy for everyone. This can be due to different causes, sometimes it is something small and can make a lot of difference because of a few small changes. To increase the chance of a good interaction and healthy development of the child, we offer everything about upbringing, nutrition, education and entertainment on our website. You can find everything here, tips, ideas, examples, etc. Do you have something nice to share with us or others? Send an email to info@kiki-en-co.nl, so we can build something beautiful together! A good quality parent-child interaction contributes to a good development of the child. The latter, that is what we stand for and we would like to help you with.

The children's books from Kiki

Our children's books are based on the reality and daily life of today. The main characters in the booklets are: Kiki: Kiki is a bright, brave giraffe girl who always experiences an educational and exciting adventure. She is very curious and eager to learn. Kiki is playful and easily bored, so she is constantly looking for new challenges. Coco: Coco is the little brother of Kiki. In the booklet: 'Kiki becomes a big sister', life is lived towards his birth. Coco is a playful naughty toddler. In addition to Kiki & Coco, parents, friends and family also play a major role in the booklets, together they try to stimulate the active form of interaction between parent and child in their role.

food

Healthy food = Varied, balanced and combined with sufficient exercise. The latter in particular is something we often forget ourselves, also with our children! Eating is also a social event. This makes it one of the daily moments when parents and children are together. As a parent you are also busy with parenting while eating. During the first months of life, eating moments are important for a good interaction between parent and child. As a parent, you are close to your child, you talk to your child, and you offer the child safety and trust. This is not easy for everyone, and there I am. As a child nutrition advisor I not only give parents or children, but the whole family the right nutritional advice. Because you walk the path to a healthy lifestyle together. Remember: healthy eating now is the basis for health later!

Crafting

Crafting is an activity that often consists of decorative works with various materials. Children learn to do crafts at a very young age, namely at the day care center. In this way, they train their motor skills and can express their creativity. Crafting is a favorite activity for many children but also adults. Crafting often starts at a very young age. Babies and toddlers are not as serious about it as older children, but they often turn it into a work of art. Did you know that some artists try to imitate the work of children? Do you know why? Because it is so nice and simple and often you can see different things in it. In a difficult word: being uninhibited by the child
